"Phariseest" Part 2 by Tim Hall, September 7, 2008

Christians over the ages have been persecuted more by religious causes than secular ones. Religion is upset by life. We are not affecting prisoners of sin because they recognize other prisoners… prisoners of religious law and rules. Prisoners are affected by freedom people. The adventure as you go through life is letting the voice of Love guide you into what is best for you. You move from Phariseeism… we are now grace people – lovers – people that are free to love as He loves us. It shows up around religion.

The anointing is God’s power or enablement; God’s ability coming on you to do something with ease.

Just because you have the ability or the gifting to do something does not mean you are anointed to do something now.
There is a difference between ability and anointing.
When God anoints you to do something, you can do things that in the natural you cannot do.

"The Trap" Part 12 by Pastor Tim Hall, October 21, 2007

A wound not treated can kill a person.

Acts 24:16 - therefore I always exercise and discipline myself [mortifying my body, deadening my carnal affections, bodily appetites, and worldly desires, endeavoring in all respects] to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense toward god and toward men.

If I don’t exercise, it is easy for me to get hurt. If we don’t pray, study, fellowship, enjoy Jesus, our spirit man is weak. It is easy for us to get hurt. Healing from injury requires exercise = THERAPY.

Matthew 5:44 Pray for those that abuse you. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Psalm 35:11-14 11Malicious and unrighteous witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not. 12they reward me evil for good to my personal bereavement. 13but as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I afflicted myself with fasting, and I prayed with head bowed on my breast. 14I behaved as if grieving for my friend or my brother; I bowed down in sorrow, as one who bewails his mother.

When did Jesus forgive us? At the cross – He forgave us before we ever said, we were wrong. Go to your brother, express love and peace and forgiveness with God’s love. Create an atmosphere of acceptance and forgiveness and peace. The goodness of God draws men to repentance.

You must understand that what was done to you was wrong, it was evil, it hurt and two wrongs do not make a right. The sin of offense is not justified by how bad you were treated. When you realize that you have sinned against God by holding on to an offense, you open up a door to get free.

The question is will you take the bait? It is impossible for offenses not to come. You will have the opportunity to be offended. What you do with the offense will determine your future.

Repentance is a change of mind, a change of heart. You’ve been thinking one way, God exposes it, you let go of it and embrace God’s way, that is repentance. It is a change of heart and a change of mind.

"The Trap" Part 11 by Pastor Tim Hall, October 14, 2007

The way you deal with an offense will determine your future. You will either become stronger or bitter. The word “offense” comes from the Greek word “scandelon” which describes the part of the trap that the bait was attached to. An offense is the Bait of Satan to pull you into captivity.
Keep in mind: Yes people offend us, but we offended Jesus in mega ways. He chose to freely forgive us when we did not deserve it.

Forgive people that don’t deserve to be forgiven. Jesus came to change our whole way of thinking.

1 PETER 2:6-7 For thus it stands in Scripture: Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen (honored), precious chief Cornerstone, and he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall never be disappointed or put to shame. 7 To you then who believe (who adhere to, trust in, and rely on Him) is the preciousness; but for those who disbelieve [it is true], The [very] Stone which the builders rejected has become the main Cornerstone,

"The Trap" Part 5 by Pastor Tim Hall, September 2, 2007

Whenever you are treated unfairly, you have an opportunity to pick up an offense or you have a chance for God to defend you. Persecution for righteousness sake is when you are treated bad for doing right. It is an offering to God; rejoice! For great is your reward in Heaven.

The next time you are being unfairly treated the stage is set for God to bless you, if you handle it correctly. If not handled correctly, you reap disturbance instead of blessing.

Joseph lived 10 years without church, home groups, Bible classes and yet you never find one complaint, not one critical statement or negative remark.

Joseph has done nothing but obey God, stay faithful to God and have a heart toward God. From the pit to slavery, 10 years, he is faithful in serving, obeys God, flees immorality, he was falsely accused and thrown into a dungeon. Listen, you may identify with this – It appears that the more I obey God and commit to Him, the worse things get.

True Sacrifices;" Part 3 by Albert Sendejo, Juuly 15th, 2007 -- "Thankfulness"

Thanksgiving helps you to hear God and see God's hand at work in your life. Thanksgiving helps you be assured of God's heartbeat for you because you are reminded of God's goodness. Meditating on God's goodness draws you to His heart because the goodness of God draws us to repentance. - --

PHILIPPIANS 2:12-13 "Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ). 13[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. -- -

Here is a general and basic word today for all of us: No matter your spiritual maturity, be thankful and consumed with God's goodness. -- -

COLOSSIANS 3:15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. -- -

1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. -- -

One of the ways you express thanks to the Lord is by being thankful for people in your life. If you take people for granted, it is because you take God for granted. -- -

COLOSSIANS 3:12-14 i2Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]. isBe gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]. wAnd above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony]. -- -

COLOSSIANS 3:16-17ieLet the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. i?And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him. -- -

HEBREWS 13:17 Obey your spiritual leaders and submit to them [continually recognizing their authority over you], for they are constantly keeping watch over your souls and guarding your spiritual welfare, as men who will have to render an account [of their trust]. [Do your part to] let them do this with gladness and not with sighing and groaning, for that would not be profitable to you [either]. -- -

PHILIPPIANS 2:14-16 ±4Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among yourselves], isThat you may show yourselves to be blameless and guiltless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world, leHolding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose. - -

PHILIPPIANS 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. - -

HEBREWS 13:15 Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. - -

Repent, submit the negative tongue and critical spirit to the Lord; practice the basic of thanksgiving. You will be aware that your battles are now the Lord's battles. You will see his deliverance. By faith, not by sight, give thanks for the victory before the victory is manifest. Give thanks to the Lord for His mercy and loving kindness endure forever. -- -

Final Sacrifices" Part 2 By Pastor Tim Hall, June 24th, 2007

If you feel like God is not happy with you and you make some kind of sacrifice to cause Him to be pleased with you You are saying to God that the final sacrifice Jesus made is not enough.

Hebrews 10:10 (Amplified) And in accordance with this will [of God], we have been made holy (consecrated and sanctified) through the offering made once for all of the body of Jesus Christ (the Anointed One).

Hebrew 10:11 Furthermore, every [human] priest stands [at his altar of service] ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again, which never are able to strip [from every side of us] the sins [that envelop us] and take them away

If we dont understand what Jesus did for us on the cross every time we blow it we will go through routines of sacrifice to get right.

Sacrifices made now for sins already paid for by the blood of Jesus are works of the flesh!

Grieving draws you to the Lord to appropriate your forgiveness. You should be sorry for your sin. There is a difference between feeling sorry for your sin and walking in guilt. There is a difference between conviction and guilt. On the Cross, Jesus said “It is finished! He fulfilled the law; the perfect sacrifice for all time. No more sacrifice is needed after that.

Hebrews 10:12 Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins [that shall avail] for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,

In the Old Testament, there was a continual need for sacrifices for sins committed. Under New Covenant, His blood was a sacrifice that covers your sins, past, present and future. The final sacrifice. As a result, sin no longer has any power over us. Freedom! When you walk in guilt, in condemnation, you allow sin to have power over you that Jesus set you free from. There are people that are beat up with guilt and condemnation over a lifetime. That is torture from the enemy that is illegal.

"Which Side Are You On"? Part 2 By Pastor Tim Hall, June 3rd 2007

2 Corinthians 4:ll-12(Amplified) For we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus' sake, that the [Resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.

Jesus died so that His life can come through you and affect other people's lives so that they can live!

Colossians 3:1-2 If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.

Colossians 3:3-5 For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory. 5So kill (deaden, deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).

Ephesians 5:18-20 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit. 19Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord, 20At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

Proverbs 16:9 A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.

"Which Side Are You On"? Part 1 By Pastor Tim Hall, May 27th 2007

God is a consuming fire. He will transform you into His image and goose bumps are not always involved.

He burns up in your life what is not consistent with His Nature. Whats left, He touches with His Glory to be used of Him.

Malachi 3:1-3 (Amplified) Behold, I send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. And the Lord [the Messiah], Whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; the Messenger or Angel of the covenant, Whom you desire, behold, He shall come, says the Lord of hosts. 2But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap; 3He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

Mark 12:30-31 And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. [This is the first and principal commandment. 31The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

2 Corinthians 4:11-12 For we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus sake, that the [Resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.

"The Power of Love", Mother's Day message by Renee Witt, May 13, 2007

I want to experience the fullness of God in my life.
Key Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-19 NKJV 14For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

What activates the power of God in my life? It's love exchange.
What does love look like? Examples from your own life. 1Corinthians 13-14:1.
What is the Bible's definition of love?
What hinders love?
How do I become rooted and grounded in love?
1. Prayer (Confessing, Expressing and Receiving)
2.	Studying Scripture, Meditating on the Word,
3.	Professing the Word (truth) (Personalize it to me)
4.	Being willing to sacrifice my flesh for love's sake (obedience).
5.	Walking it out - The power of a positive attitude (giving praise, being grateful)

"To Achieve or Receive" Part 3 - Tim Hall - mAY 6,, 2007

Galatians 3:3 Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [Holy] Spirit, are you now reaching perfection [by dependence] on the flesh?

You cannot change yourself. You cannot make yourself think good thoughts. You cannot make yourself respond right in every situation. Only God can change me. We are changed from glory to glory. Don't be so disturbed about seeing weaknesses in youself or others. Those cause us to need Him and need each other. They cause us to lean on Him. It is good for us to be needy of Him.

Are you a receiver or an achiever?

Ephesians 1:3 May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm

It is actually more scriptural to thank God for blessing you and asking Him to open the eyes of your heart to see how all He has blessed you with versus praying for God to bless you.

Lord, show me what and who I am in Christ. Lord, thank you that You hear me, You always do. Thank you Lord that You empower me to do what You want me to do and be what You want me to be. You fill my heart with Your desires; You overwhelm me with Your love. I walk in wisdom. Thank Him for it and walk in it. Stop begging and start believing.

Ephesians 1:17-19 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,
18By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),
19And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength

Right in the midst of all these things we now are conquerors - more than. Don't wait until you feel like one to start receiving. You are an overcomer before the battle even starts.

Colossians 2:10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead-Father., Son and Holy Spirit~and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

1 John 2:27 But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].

John 10:27 The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.

Ephesians 2:6 (NIV Bible) And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

Luke 10:19 Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

Romans 12:6 Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith;

Romans 8:37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

1 Peter 2:24 He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
16Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

If we don't get help from God - we are not receiving. He is available. The problem is that we may not know how to receive. If you have your eyes on what's wrong with you and not what's right with Jesus, the focus is on you versus what He has done on the cross when He said the score is final; It is finished.

The score is final so now I can be a receiver and not an achiever in victory.

Galatians 3:1-2 O you poor and silly and thoughtless and unreflecting and senseless Galatians! Who has fascinated or bewitched or cast a spell over you, unto whom--right before your very eyes--Jesus Christ (the Messiah) was openly and graphically set forth and portrayed as crucified?
2Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the [Holy] Spirit as the result of obeying the Law and doing its works, or was it by hearing [the message of the Gospel] and believing [it]? [Was it from observing a law of rituals or from a message of faith?]

Im not asking you to do anything except believe and receive.

If the bible says you have power; you say, "I have power". If the bible says you died when He died; you say, "I died when He died". When the bible says you are anointed; you say, "I am anointed" even if you dont feel spiritual that day.

This is what faith is. It is the evidence of things you dont see. Evidence of things we dont feel. We see it in the invisible first, and receive it in the visible next.

"To Achieve or Receive" - Tim Hall - April 15, 2007

TO ACHIEVE OR TO RECEIVE April 15, 2007

Galatians 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.

In Watchman Nee's book, Spiritual Man (page 98)
"God says my flesh has been crucified so I believe it is crucified. I acknowledge that what God says about me is true. By responding in this fashion we shall soon encounter the reality of it."

What we believe and receive is what is manifested in our life. The invisible becomes visible. If I believe I am a slave to sin, when sin comes - 1 surrender. If I believe I am the righteousness of God in Christ and I am dead to sin - I overcome.

Whoever you yield to determines what crop you get.

What happens when we start receiving and appropriating who we are in Christ? Well for one, I don't have to find something everyday to be happy about. The truth is, the joy of the Lord is in me and because of Him my cup overflows. If you wait on your feelings to enjoy the Lord and the things of the Lord, people, the day, you will not be an overcomer.

Romans 6:1-6 What shall we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow?
2Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?
3Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4VVe were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.
5For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].
know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.

I am no longer a slave to sin - I don't have to get up this morning afraid of sin or temptation. We have been set free to enjoy Christ and the life of Christ. We don't walk with sin or a sin consciousness; we walk with Jesus and the mind of Christ.

Romans 6:8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.
Romans 6:11 Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:12-13 So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.

13For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.

Galatians 3:1-2 O you poor and silly and thoughtless and unreflecting and senseless Galatians! Who has fascinated or bewitched or cast a spell over you, unto whom-right before your very eyes-Jesus Christ (the Messiah) was openly and graphically set forth and portrayed as crucified?
